Essence For Hair was established in June 2006 by experienced and trained stylist Hayley. After mastering the hairstyling world, Hayley decided that the only way to fulfil her ambitions was to move into the world of business. Hayley's path took her to London and the well-known Toni and Guy Company, where she found herself working at some of the most prestigious salons in London.
Not only did this give her an exceptional learning opportunity, but it was also a priceless experience. It certainly stood her in good stead when she returned to Lowestoft and became self-employed at a local salon. A customer base was soon built up, and the confidence gained from working in London gave her the foundation to start her own business, in her own premises, and she has never looked back!
Essence For Hair has a policy of ongoing training. All staff (including Hayley) attends regular training sessions and courses at top London academies of some of the world's greatest hairdressing brands, including Vidal Sassoon, L’Oréal, and Toni and Guy.
The salon assistants also benefit from weekly training and hands-on sessions at the salon. These sessions enable not only the senior staff to share their experiences, but also confidence building for our future stylists.
